Schoolcraft Studios is a family owned and operated business. The company was started by George and Gina Crescione in Paterson, NJ in 1947. George and Gina opened Crescione Studio, located at 53 Market Street, where they specialized in family portraits and tuxedo rentals.

In 1973 Joseph, son of George and Gina, joined the business. Joe gradually made his way into the school picture business and opened up Schoolcraft Studios. Over the past 30 years, he has invested in state-of-the-art machinery and equipment which has allowed Schoolcraft to remain on top of its competitors in the school photo business.

In 2002, Cristine, daughter of Joe, joined the business upon graduation from Virginia Tech where she graduated with a BS in Marketing and Public Relations. In 2005, G.J., son of Joe and brother of Cristine, joined the business as well, after graduating from University of Delaware with a BS in Health and Physical Education. Cristine and G.J. have been able to bring new ideas to the company and look forward to maintaining the relationships their fathers has formed over the last 30 years. Schoolcraft is currently located at 2 Wilson Drive in Sparta, New Jersey and services over 100 schools throughout New Jersey.
